Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Abigail Kuhn, the creator of Kid Connect Academy and the author behind the Clover Meadow Adventures picture book series. My heart is to help young children grow in faith, character, and curiosity through gentle stories and meaningful early learning tools.
My journey into writing and resource creation began long before my first book was ever published. As a stay-at-home mom to three young children, I spent years reading picture books, exploring nature, building routines, and learning alongside my kids. Those simple everyday moments ignited a deep love for early childhood development and inspired me to pursue my degree in Early Childhood Education.
Later, I stepped into a role at an early learning center, where I welcomed families each morning, supported staff, and watched the beautiful rhythm of early childhood unfold up close. Even though I wasn’t teaching in the classroom, I was immersed in children’s growth, emotions, learning, and faith development every day. That experience shaped the way I approach storytelling and resource design—with gentleness, developmentally appropriate practices, and a deep respect for how children learn.
Over time, Kid Connect Academy grew into something more:
a place where faith, storytelling, and early learning come together.
The Heart Behind the Stories
Clover Meadow Adventures began with one simple idea:
Children learn big truths through small, everyday moments.
Through characters like Buzzby the Bumblebee, Mabel the Butterfly, Grumble the Beetle, and their woodland friends, I write stories that help young readers understand bravery, gratitude, joy, kindness, faith, and the love of God in ways they can hold onto.
Each book in the series is created to feel warm, safe, and full of heart—perfect for homes, preschools, early learning centers, Sunday School classrooms, and family storytime.
The Mission Behind the Resources
Alongside my books, I design printables, devotionals, activity packs, preschool learning tools, and teacher resources that support both learning and spiritual development.
Kid Connect Academy now includes:

What Inspires My Work
My writing and resources are shaped by:
• My years at home with my children
• My Early Childhood Education degree
• My work in an Early Learning Center
• My love for storytelling and illustration
• My desire to help children understand God’s love
• The belief that learning should feel peaceful, simple, and joyful
Children deserve spaces where they feel safe, capable, and loved.
That belief guides everything I write and create.
When I’m Not Writing
When I’m not creating books or designing learning materials, you’ll often find me enjoying good coffee, spending time with my family, visiting local shops, or dreaming up new Clover Meadow stories and resources for the families and educators I serve.
